Ziphius @ Lisbon Mini Maker Faire #3

With more than 5.000 people registered online to attend, the first Lisbon Maker Faire is set to be an one of a kind event in the city.

Be sure to visit Ziphius stall tomorrow from 10AM to 10PM and from 10AM to 8PM on Sunday. Despite the fact that you will have the chance to know  Ziphius and meet the team, we have a surprise too. *drumroll* You might want to get your hands on a DIY kit for yourself or your friend this Christmas. Sounds good, right? Come meet us, we promise you will not regret it 😉

The creators of Printoo, Ynvisible, other YDreams spinout, are also going to be at the faire presenting their printed electronics, so check them out too!

Ziphius @ Lisbon Mini Maker Faire #2

The Lisbon Mini Maker Faire starts tomorrow. Makers, fans of the maker culture, curious minds…  everyone is welcome to visit and attend the various talks and workshops happening during the day.

António Câmara, YDreams and Azorean president, is going to present a talk at 3PM named “Developing ecosystems of intelligent objects” in which he focuses on the tools available to develop ecosystems of intelligent objects and on the creation of smart environments.

The Artica stall is one of the other things worth checking at the faire.  If you’re an avid reader of this blog, you probably know that Artica is one of Azorean’s partners. They are one of the sponsors of the event. Make sure to give them a visit.

No plans for the next weekend? Now you do. If you’re in Lisbon, head to Parque das Nações and visit Maker Faire, where Ziphius will have its own tent just outside Pavilhão do Conhecimento.

Maker Faire

Maker Faire starts tomorrow, this time in Europe, more specifically in the lovely city of Rome. Between the showcase of new exciting makers and their creations and dozens of conferences, the following 4 days are going to be absolutely full of exciting experiences. We are very sad we won’t be able to attend it. It’s an event which covers many interests of ours such as technology, science, DIY and engineering.

Nevertheless, we would like to ask everyone to make us a report of your days at Maker Faire. Most interesting projects? Highlights? We want to know it all. Comment below or send us an e-mail. Have fun!
